"The location was perfect - it is walking distance to major museums (Pompidou, Louvre, D'Orsay, Notre Dame), and the major metro stop at Des Halles, Restaurants, Patisseries, and even a Lego store. We appreciated that there was a separate, master bedroom but also a space off to the side for one of the futon beds. The master bedroom windows open to the quiet, courtyard side of the building (see picture). The bathroom and shower are good-sized and there is a washing machine. There is Wi-Fi! You can login to Netflix, etc. on the TV. There are standing fans to help with the summer heat."

"The trade off for such a great location is street noise and some exhaust fumes when you open the windows. For such a small street it is quite active, with many emergency vehicles and motorcycles. However, you get used to it and it adds to the ambience - like the late night chatter from an art show opening four stories below us. Or the clip-clop of horses when 4 mounted police officers passed by one morning. You can see directly into the windows of neighbors across the street - but as in any big city we actively ignored each other, yet communally came to the windows to enjoy a strong downpour of summer rain. Be ready to embrace city life when you stay here. The kitchen is tiny. There are lots of stairs up to the apartment - to work off those pastries you ate."

"La casa è molto spaziosa e ottima per una famiglia di 4 persone. La posizione è comodissima con la fermata della metro a 5 min e le maggiori attrazioni raggiungibili a piedi in 15-20 minuti. Supermercati e vari negozi molto vicini. La camera da letto è molto silenziosa in quanto la finestra da verso un cortiletto interno. La casa è fornita di ogni confort: lavastoviglie, lavatrice-asciugatruce, freezer capiente, forno a microonde....."
